When I saw that this series had come on DVD I remembered how fascinated I was when it was first shown on TV. I was not disappointed. It still keeps you interested and specially Emma Thompsons performance is wonderful. But in fact the whole cast is excellent.Movie Review: wonderful

Fortunes of War would be the very best and wonderful series we have ever seen. Wonderful story and suberb acting, and a stunning cast. I can recomend anyone that would like to CRY, LAUGH, and be entertained just get this once in a lifetime war series
