Movie Review: VERY TOUCHING STORY !!
Summary: 5 Stars
At the beginning of the story the boy (main character) seems to be very quiet, until he met the soldier from Canada, Walt, then he started to be more happy and during the time that both of them were together, they both have a great time, until the last the soldier left, and that part was really touching, because the boy is finding the soldier's picture that he took and also the necklace that the soldier left on a thing (a fake person that stand on a farm that is made of dry grass), but that time was thundering, so he hurts himself by toucking the necklace. Looking at those parts I was really touched because the boy seems like losing his most important person in the world...But I love the part that shows the time when the both of them were together, so sweet and romantic.
Movie Review: deeply touched by this movie.

I really like how the movie focuses on the main two charcters.Martin Smitt[the boy], was amazing in his role, I instanly fell in love with him. The soldiers part was great too. His affection for the boy and the boy for him touched me deeply. The intimate scenes were well done and I enjoyed them and saw them from a perspective that a repressive hystera oriented society could never understand.
The ending was heartbreaking for the boy, but it drove home how much they loved eachother. I think the perfect ending would be that the soldier comes back for the boy or leaves a way of contacting him, but knowing the military the soldier was probably rdered to leave on a moments notice and didn't have the chance to make a contact with the boy.
Still I love this movie a lot.
Movie Review: WONDERFULLY HUMAN

If this film weren't so well done, it could be dismissed as exploitive. It's the tale of a young boy and a soldier (who truly can't be more than a man in his early 20s) who fall in love with each other. Because the subject is so jarring, I was waiting for the moment when it would all come undone. That moment never came. Instead, the film maker handles the characters so sensitively that their circumstances make their experiences seem all the more human and understandable. This is not a film for everyone but, for those who take the risk, I believe you can't help but feel touched by the tenderness between them especially because they are drawn together only because of the unpredictable forces of a world at war. "For a lost soldier" is one of these controversial films that demands from the viewer a whole maturity and absolute conveyance, because deals with complex psychological behaviour, into the distorted ambiance of a relentless war, where the feelings sometimes stand out of a thoughtful control.
At the end of the WW2 , a boy of just 12, initiates his sexual awake with a Canadian soldier who works out as his handsome liberator.
Previously we had the chance to watch "Midnight porter" where the process of psychical dislocation tends to be cloud the senses, the normal logic of what we assume as normal, but this serious and mature approach makes of this film unique in its genre.

Movie Review: Fabilous Story

If we put aside the psychoanalytical nonsense and look at this movie from a perspective of whether or not this is a good movie and why, here's what we will have. This movie is about same sex intergenerational relationship and coming of age in the countryside during World War II. It is made in raw, true and natural way-pretty much nothing is sugar coated. All actors play their role well. The movie is well made and the plot is ok written, even though in the end one may be left with a feeling that the movie has been left incomplete. And Even though For a Lost Soldier clearly shows mutual affection between two main characters, one may want more of affectionate scenes, for there are very few. In the end this motion picture stands out as very unique.
