Movie Review: Amazing Series!
Summary: 5 Stars
Flambards is one of those truly amazing series whose story stays with you long after you have finished watching it. The movie follows the life of Christina from her days as a young woman staying at her uncle's house, all the way through marriage and motherhood. The story goes through a few twists, and many times seems to lead in one direction without actually following through the way one would expect it to.
Each episode in the mini-series leaves you wondering how it could get any better.

I watched the Flambards series when I was a teenager, back in the 80s...I LOVED it then. Recently, I remembered it and my kids and I borrowed it from the local library. The LOVED it. It was on my 17 year olds Christmas list so, we ordered it from Amazon. It is well worth the $30 we paid. It is very well done. The music is memorable. I have whistled Christina's theme for almost 30 years now!! I highly recommend Flambards for anyone who loves horses, airplanes and period movies.Movie Review: Wonderful!

I saw this in its first run on PBS a long while back. Imagine my delight when I discovered it was available on DVD. I watched the series over again, reliving the adventures of Christina and her move from place to place, finally to come home again to Flambards. It's a story that never grows old and will stay with you. And that catchy little tune over the credits? You'll be whistling it, I guarantee it!Movie Review: A Really Good Drama!

I saw this years ago on 'Masterpiece Theater' and I loved it. I've looked for it over the years. Finally found it and placed an order. It was even better than I remembered! The fox hunt and flight scenes were exciting. I know I will watch and enjoy this video several times.
