Movie Review: ALIEN ABDUCTION: TRUE OR FALSE?
Summary: 3 Stars

This is based on a true story involving young logger Travis Walton who was allegedly abducted by aliens and had bizarre experiments performed on him. Is it true? I have an open mind, and this movie never tries to convince you, it just goes about its business of showing the turmoil and disbelief that shrouded the other loggers who witnessed the alien invasion, but not the actual abduction.
While D.B. Sweeney who plays Travis gets top billing, the movie really focuses on his friends, mainly Robert Patrick as his best friend who finds himself ostracized by family and friends, and even accused of murdering the missing Travis. Sweeney and Patrick are both quite good in their roles. The friends are well embodied by Peter Berg, Bradley Gregg, and Craig Sheffer. James Garner is his reliable old self as the state investigator who never believes the abduction story.
What really keeps this from being an exceptional movie is the slow pacing and unimaginative direction. Filmed in 1993, special effects weren't as sophisticated and the lack of any explanation for the abduction and Travis' release only adds to the skepticism, but UFO buffs will probably eat this up.

Movie Review: Entertaining Movie, But Highly Innaccurate....
Summary: 3 Stars

I do admit this movie is entertaining, and for that aspect i got my money's worth. However, as someone who studies UFO's i find this a disgrace. I know hollywood likes to distort truth, but this is a joke. Read Travis Walton's real record of what he says happened and ull be mad to cause it has nothing in common with the movie. Actually, his story is more bizzare in that he saw human-like people onboard and actually was the one scaring them away, rather than him being the victim. He was never abused in that aspect that he was being experimented on. For this, the movie recieves less stars as false crap like this slows down the progress of research and science alike and keeps us on the edge of our toes for something else, as the majority knows this movie as the version of his story versus what he really said. Either way, caution urself on the study of UFOlogy, as i find much research happens in this manner. Above all, trust in Jesus as he reins.

Movie Review: This is suppose to be a true story,

snd it may well be. The acting was ok, but too many flared nostrils. James Garner looks good for his age, but, all the suspects seemed to do was take lie detector tests, it was boring. The director should have done more with what Travis saw on the space ship. That was a lot more interesting, as a matter of fact it didn't look all that sanitary for a operating room. The whole ship looked pretty dirty, the aliens may be advanced but they sure are slobs. Enjoy!
