Movie Review: CLASSIC ROCKERS AT THEIR BEST!
Summary: 5 Stars
The gathering of Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles at the famed Storyville Club in New Orleans is a show not to be missed. Paul Schaffer of the Letterman show holds the music together and makes sure the best of all involved is brought forth. Each artist takes a turn at doing a solo set, backed up by their own bands, and then the three come together for some fabulous group music, backed up by Schaffer and band. This took place during the mid 1980's, and each artist was is top form at the time. Surely, a must have music DVD.Movie Review: The Fat Man the Genious; and Jerry Lee 3 Pianos ONE Stage

This video is so entertaining; we have played it in the theater room while serving dessert; and after dinner drinks to guests;;;all of us remember; and reminisse about the concerts we saw these guys perform in the 60's. Make's you feel like you are in the club in person.
Paul Schaffer put this one performance together---it is the only one---the next generation would have to put Elton John; Billy Joel; and ??? together to even try to equal this!

I bought this on a whim, actually a used version, since there was none new. It's just fantastic. Great music. Great songs, and just wonderful piano. My 5 and 7 year-old daughters can't get enough of it. They listen to it every other day. When Ray starts to kick up "I've got a woman", the two little ones start rocking their heads from side to side and start playing air piano. That's a treat for any dad! I saw this on a German satellite channel 20 years ago, and I've always wished I'd recorded it.
The excitement of everyone present came through loud and clear, and all the musicians gave outstanding performances.
When I saw there was a DVD, it led me to make my first ever order to Amazon, and it has lived up to all my expectations. This is a buy that I will never regret.

What a magnificent D.V.D.I have been trying to aquire a copy of this particular D.V.D for years. I have been a Jerry Lee Lewis fan for 5o years. Once I aquired the D.V.D called "Last Man Standing" I had to get Fats & Friends as well. I truely reccommend this D.V.D.It's magnificent in all its splendour.
