Movie Review: The story of the Manhattan Project
Summary: 5 Stars

The story of the development of the team responsible for the creation of the first atomic bombs. Not so much about the technology of the bomb itself but more about the personalities involved and some of the obstacles General Groves had to overcome to give the USA "the biggest stick on the playground". If you are a history buff you are likely to enjoy this period film.

I gave this to my Husband for our Annivisary. After our recent visit to Sante Fe, New Mexico, visiting the 109 South Palace Place and going through Los Alamos he really got interested more in it. Good Movie to watch. Must get the Day after Trinity also if youwatch this one. It is also good.

I am a retired research physicist who spent 13 years in New Mexico. I highly recommend this movie for those with an interest in the history of physics or interesting people or whatever. This movie is not completely factual, but I love it anyway. As a historical drama, it is very well done.
