Movie Review: Amazing factual review

With few exceptions, this film shows in clear, stark---and well-documented---sections the history of Islamic hatred for the Jewish people, and from whence comes today's "Arab war against Israel."
As all will see who take the two hours needed to view this comprehensive film, that hatred has very little to do with Israel's modern establishment in 1948, and almost everything to do with the founding principles of Islam, as established by Mohammad himself in his battles against the 7th century Jewish tribes of Arabia. For those who do not know it, Medina (Yathreb, in those days) was actually a Jewish town, and Jewish farmers worked their rich fig and date plantations on its outskirts, to the benefit of all Arabia.
Alas, when the Jewish people of Arabia refused to convert to the new religion Mohammad devised, he exiled and slaughtered them all---taking their wives and children as slaves.
Concerning the supposed "golden age" of Islam, I beg to differ with the film's statements of Islamic achievements. For that particular section, the film relied on but one source, whose reports are distorted by personal bias, and refuted by a host of other historical material, including the critical historical exposes assembled by Dr. Andrew Bostom, The Legacy of Jihad and The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism.
But that caveat aside, this film is riveting, and extremely educational, so much so that even friends not generally interested in the Middle East or Islam sat through the entire showing with only one short break.
Especially for those raised on video media, and less prone to read encyclopedic works revealing the history exposed here, this film is a Godsend. Get it, view it, and recommend it, highly!

The confrontation between Islam and the Jews began in the Prophet Muhammads time and continues to this day. Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran and The Revolt of Islam is an historic journey, from the birth of Islam, through its 1,200 year reign over the civilized world, to the last 300 years of Islamic decline, overtaken and dominated by the West - then humiliated by a Jewish state. Islams historic trials with Jews, and its relationship with conquered non-believers, help illustrate the Islamic world view - all through the eyes of Muslims.In this groundbreaking film, the total rejection of Israel by Muslim states since its inception in 1948 comes to light as a religious duty for Believers. The Islamic roots of Anwar Sadats 1977 Camp David Accords with Israel are exposed as The Diplomatic Strategy Against Israel by which Egypt sought to defeat Israel through diplomacy, rather than establish Western Peace. Israels misunderstanding of Islamic goals and values are highlighted by its enthusiasm for Yasser Arafat and the 1993 Oslo Accords. Next, President George Bushs tragic misunderstanding of 9/11 as a War Against Freedom, in which the United States played into the hands of Al-Qaeda and the Islamist cause by advocating democratic reform across the Middle East, is revealed. Finally, the Iranian strategic agenda for acquiring weapons of mass destruction to eliminate Israel comes clearly into focus.
Today, at the direction of Iran, Islamists are preparing for a fateful coming war for Islam - and Israel is the number one target and obstacle in the path of Islamic revival. Only with the return of Jews to their historic status as Dhimmi or Tributaries, tolerated and protected within Islamic society, can Islamic revival succeed - resulting in Islamic Peace, in the Middle East.
