Movie Review: Maybe Tom's best

First off I've never been a big Tom Cruise fan but in this movie he is great in it.It's an epic story about a couple coming to America from Ireland and falling in love after a rough start.Tom's character tried to shoot Nicole Kidmans father after his business took his families property.It is a great epic story but my favorite part of this movie is Michelle Johnson. I have rewound and watched and rewound and watched her parts in the movie more times than I could ever count.Movie Review: Do you like my hat?! Say you like my hat shannon!"

What an amazing movie! this is on my top ten list and will be there forever. My mom is the one who first introduced this movie to me many years ago, and now we watch it over and over again. I never seem to get tired of it. The love between Shannon and Joseph is a love everyone in the world wants. There are so many laugh-out-loud scenes that are hard to forget. I work at a video store and I'm constantly recommending this movie to cutomers. I absolutely love it =)Movie Review: Far and Away - Charming!

The movie is excellent. I was hoping to find the directors cut with additional footage, but the regular DVD is excellent as well. Not many additional features, but the movie is delightful and, although slightly longer then some, holds the viewers interest. Minor amounts of nudity, some very graphic fist fighting, but not excessive and always appropriate to the plot. One of Ron Howard's best films.Movie Review: far and away dvd review

This is an excellent movie depicting that era. It gives you a real sense of what the Native Americans endured when the government continually took things away from the Indians and pushed them further west along the Trail of Tears and the fight the early pioneers had to declare a piece of property as theirs.
The acting of Tom Cruse and Nicole Kidmen is superb.
