Movie Review: Wonderful and Nostalgic ! Kids will love it !!!

I just loved this movie. The two little actresses in this film are the best I've seen in many years. It is great for all ages and genders. Although, children under three might ask questions regarding the reality of the fairies. The fairies look unbelievably REAL!
This movie really makes one understand the wonder, magic, and innocence of a child's spirit. It was not pretentious nor assuming, in fact it was the complete opposite of what I thought it would be. I was glued to the t.v. throughout and watched it four times in a week.
The cinematography is beautiful and spell-binding, the concepts are clean and introspective. It was very well written, directed and acted. It has historical value as well as moral value. This movie will truely be a classic as "The Wizard of Oz" was in its day.
Movie Review: Utterly delightful for children and adults alike

Don't be fooled by thinking this delightful film is just for children. I just happened on the movie on TV yesterday and was absolutely captivated and I am middle-aged. I already knew the background story about the Cottingley fairies and was curious as to how this would be dealt with on film. The movie did not disappoint in the least. Although the account is, of course, fictionalized a bit, that fact does not deter from its charm. In fact, I would imagine those unfamiliar with the true events might even more interested -- and even compelled to read even more of the story. Do yourself a favor, watch this movie, I am sure you will be as captivated by this charming story as much as I was. HIGHLY recommended.Movie Review: Great Movie

I am an adult and purchased this movie for both my husband and I to watch. Why? Because it was something different and refreshing to watch from the usual high dramas and R-rated movies that are out on the market. It was a nice change of pace to take yourself away into a different world of fun and expectation. After all, do we know if fairies really exist or not? Just opening up our minds to the chance that fairies do exist made the movie very enjoyable. I highly recommend this movie for people of all ages - not just children. It takes you back to when you were innocent and took life as it came without analyzing whether things were possible.Movie Review: Great movie, great story!

Albert Einstein once said "The Universe is an illusion, albeit a persistent one." Keep that in mind as you watch this movie and just may-be both your heart and mind will be transformed. Great movie, great story and it is great fun to watch!
Movie Review: Great film for girls!

I love this film. It portrays fairies as I remember them as a child. I taught my daughter all about them when she was small and we have always enjoyed them. Now my daughter is expecting a girl any day now and I showed her this film. She was enchanted and I'm sure my new granddaughter will love it as well. It's based on a true story and gives all the clues as to how they produced the photographs without making it so clear as to disallusion small children. We look forward to showing it to her along with Finding Neverland. The fairies are beautiful and convincing. It's a charming film.
