Summary of Extreme Justice
For years a secret and elite branch of the Los Angeles Police Department has operated outside of normal police guidelines in order to stalk and remove hard core criminals from the streets. The S.I.S. (Special Investigation Section) often waits for a crime to happen before it moves in. Their tactics are unconvential - bystanders and crime victims are sometimes considered necessary sacrifices - but they are extremely effective in accomplishing their primary task: getting the criminals off the streets.Until recently, the L.A.P.D. has totally denied that such an organization exists. Now, the new L.A. Police Chief has not only acknowledged its existence, but has also promised to investigate this illegal "death squad." "Extreme Justice" is timely and controversial.
