Movie Reviews of Evening

Movie Review: Absolutly Charming
Summary: 5 Stars

Premise of the movie is about a dying old woman who dreams about her past. It's a charming "chick flick", kind of in the order of the Notebook. I think why I liked it is because it was different in that you saw her daughters' side of view in away, not just the mother's. It's not a tearjerker but it shows how our "everyday life with nothing out of the ordinary" is the ones we cherish and at times the happiest. I think most women who like romance and relationship movies will like this movie.

Movie Review: an awesome movie
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie was so under-rated. Barely a notice. No fan fare. But discovering it was truly a profound experience for me. Perhaps it can be seen as a "chick flick" as it examines the relationships women weave themselves into and out of. Every woman should see it and even most men to get a better perspective of the women in their lives. As a tapestry is woven for many different reasons and textures, this film brings that fabric to a medium that touches you.....in so many ways.

Movie Review: Amazing Film for Those of Like Mind
Summary: 5 Stars

I totally understand how the reviews are differing to such extremes. This was not a "For Public Consumption" film. It incorporates so many different levels of belief. The film is beautiful to look at, the cast is amazing & the content goes far beyond what most American consumers will accept as an escape from their mundane lives...The film haunts for quite a while. This one makes my favorites list...Plus, Claire Danes is super hot :)

Movie Review: Great Actors Make A Great Film
Summary: 5 Stars

Saw a preview of this this past weekend and I was wonderfully surprised. Everyone turns in the type of performance you would expect, and I'll be the first to admit I was looking to be let down by this film, thinking that there was no way the cast could live up to my expectations, and that no director could finagle that much talent on screen. It was a good time, and I recommend seeing it.

Movie Review: An Evening of Magnetic Movie...
Summary: 5 Stars

Evening: A star-studded film from the director Lajos Koltai; a poetic master piece with Vanessa Redgrave, Glenn Close and Meryl Streep in towering roles. It tells the story of friendships, doomed relationships and secret loves that end with broken hearts. The story is being told like a water color painting set in 1950s upper class East Coast America.
