Movie Reviews of Evel KnievelMovie Review: Nice Evel flick. (RIP Evel) Summary: 5 Stars
Enjoyed this movie recently w/ my family. Besides a few mildly profane words, this movie is good for the whole family. This film, which was made for tv, explores Evel's life from a personal frame of reference. No special effects, and no great jump footage, but still, a great Evel piece which examines a true American legend. Well worth the few dollars I paid (around 15 w/ shipping).
Movie Review: What did you expect? Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great movie about the legend of Knievel, more based on fact than the 1971 movie of the same name. Eads was as cocky as Evel was in real life. Buy it if you are a fan of this American icon!
Movie Review: Tongue in cheek please Summary: 5 Stars
This movie was funny!
It explored a guy whom probably took himself too seriously, then played it up.
Talk about the legend of Evel Knievel, the man had balls, then some ... ;)

RIP Evel, there will never be another daredevil quite like you...
Movie Review: Likability of Evel given through Eads's eyes! Summary: 4 Stars
If this is the same movie that most of us saw on TNT, then it was a GREAT movie. I mean, I was born in the generation after Evel Knievel's prime, and all I grew up with was the legend of Evel, so seeing this movie was like, "Wow, I never knew that was pretty much the real story behind his life!"
If you grew up during the era of Evel, you might not like this movie, but if you were grew up during the era of C.S.I., you will, because of one person: George Eads. One, he's Nick Stokes on one of the best shows on t.v. right now; two, he's extra sexy, even with those nasty arse blonde hair extensions that he had to wear (which ruined his hair underneath, hence the reason why he shaved his head for the last season of CSI); and three, he's a great star; he can carry a movie, which is something to think about next time someone needs a good-looking leading man. This Texas boy did something good: he made Evel human. Through his eyes, Evel Knievel, king of all daredevils, appearing like a normal, everyday person. If you haven't seen it, you should, because I did and I loved it.
