Movie Review: Eve's Christmas--A good holiday movie

I have read mixed reviews about this movie but I really enjoyed it. I've seen it a number of times and I continue to find it entertaining. I was never a big Elisa Donavan fan prior to this but after this movie, I actually grew to like her very much. There are some funny things in the movie that I chuckle at----like the fact that this is set 10 years ago (10 years ago from point of filming which was 2004, so 1994) and supposedly Eve can create a working website overnight and sell things over the internet the next morning, linking the store's inventory up, etc. Humm......I don't think it was quite that easy in 1994 but I'm no IT expert. Overall, I think this movie is very enjoyable for the holiday season and I do recommend it to anyone that likes a good "chick-flick."Movie Review: Love this story!

Imagine a female Scrooge, all driven to succeed and having an affair with her married boss. She broke up with her long-time fiance to take this job in the big city. She hasn't seen her brother or parents since her departure. She finds herself alone on Christmas Eve. She makes a Christmas wish and wakes up to find herself back before she was offered the job, days before her wedding. She realizes she loves her fiance and she fights with the need for success. The movie, Eve's Christmas was an entertaining movie, if not a great one. However, I had recently discovered Sebastian Spence in the Hallmark movie, Daniel's Daughter. He is really such a consumate actor. And, his involvement in this movie is basically the reason I ordered it.Movie Review: eve's christmas

This is a well done, well written movie about finding Love and having a second chance to redeem it. My family will enjoy this story for many years.
