Movie Reviews of Eureka Seven, Volume 11 (Episodes 43-46)Movie Review: A great set up for a promising finale Summary: 5 StarsThings move pretty slowly in these 4 episodes. We get a lot of important developments though so it's apparent this is the calm before the storm. Stoners importance is demonstrated through his articles and photographs, though this isn't given as much attention as I had hoped. Where everyone stands going in to the final confrontations is now apparent. We do get a tad more angst on the Renton and Eureka side of things, but it's nothing extreme or awkward.
On the technical side it actually seems that it was a bit above the the norm for the series in regards to animation and art. The rest remains strong as well, although lesser characters are getting fewer and fewer lines, which is a bit unfortunate.
It's a bit of a slower set of episodes, but the development of the story we receive is worth it. The next volume really can not come fast enough.

Summary of Eureka Seven, Volume 11 (Episodes 43-46)The Sacrificial King, born to murder ones father in order to quiet the quaking planet. Dewey reveals to Anemone the truth of his childhood and the crown he bore. High above, in the stratosphere, Holland pilots an experimental LFO, the Devilfish, pushing his physical and mental limits to a point near death. Meanwhile, Dominic travels to Warsaw in order to find a replacement pilot for the weakening Anemone. Far beyond the Great Wall, Renton, Eureka and the stow-away children explore the Promised Land. Storm clouds begin brewing and for better or worse something is changing in Eureka. As these changes begin to manifest physically a wedge is driven between the boy and the girl. The truth held within Stoner s ray-out article spreads like wild fire, not only amongst the counter-culture but within the military itself. The final clash approaches, out numbered Gekkostate fights on! As the sci-fi adventure Eureka Seven approaches its conclusion, the tone darkens and the story grows more complicated. Colonel Dewey reveals that he and Holland were born into a royal family, but one in which the king was sacrificed to appease the spirits of the Earth. Renton, Eureka, and her adopted brood have reached "the genuine promised land," which appears to be the Earth. Eureka develops glowing bubbles on her left arm, then a pair of butterfly wings, which are apparently part of her natural development, although these changes upset her. As Dewey prepares his attack on the control cluster of the Coralians, Dominic and Captain Jurgens join forces with Holland and the crew of the Gekkostate to counter the assault--and save the planet. Eureka Seven began as a light-hearted adventure; it's turned into a dire, apocalyptic battle saga with overtones of Evangelion.
