Movie Reviews of Ernest Goes to Camp

Movie Review: One Of My Favorite Movies Ever!!! (For Some Sick Reason)
Summary: 5 Stars

"Ernest Goes To Camp" You just can't say that phrase, and not crack a smile! Jim Varney (Rest In Peace) Is my second favorite actor, next to Jack Nicelson. This is one of my favorite things do do at school:

[Go up to someone and ask:]
Me: "Have you ever seen "Ernest Goes To Camp"?
[They responed either "Uhh... Yes" or "Uhh... No".]
Me: "Oh, well I could get a projector, and show it on my butt."

I guess you had to be there... Anyway. I love this movie. If you love stupid/funny/retarded people doing/saying stupid/funny/retarded things. you'll love this movie!!!

P.S. Jim Varney, We hardly knew ye.

Movie Review: side splitting
Summary: 5 Stars

Jim Varney is great in his Earnest roles. this is one example out of many. I laughed til I cried from this one. not only is this movie hilarious but it really goes to show you teamwork really does pay off and that you can overcome anything. not to mention the story is touching while being very funny at times. Jim deserves an academy award for this picture if he hasn't gotten one yet. the director is brilliant too

Movie Review: Jim Varney, Master of Silly Humor, KnowwhatImean?
Summary: 5 Stars

Years ago, when the kids were little and this movie was new, we rented it from the video store on a whim. I ended up laughing so hard I nearly wet my pants. Varney's brand of silly humor has a level of sophistication to it that draws you in and makes it fun for all ages. This was, perhaps, his best known and best work that began the "Earnest Goes to..." phenomena and kept us in stitches so many years.

Movie Review: Genius
Summary: 5 Stars

Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney) is the best thing to happen to the comedy genre since Cheech and Chong disappeared. Ernest is a camp counselor for a bunch of brats. Pure 80's mischief and Ernest goes native, you can't miss it! He doesn't like to eat those two weirdos' cooking. Watch him go 'huh' and get slammed in the face with a lunch tray. Classic.

Movie Review: A Plus Comedy
Summary: 5 Stars

Thumbs up! A classic comedy about Ernest and his comedic adventures at summer camp. This film is a great film for the entire family to watch because there is comedy that an adult will find funny yet children will still understand the jokes and slapstick that ensues within the film. A great comedy family film for everyone to participate in!
