Movie Review: The Music of the Night

I am from Europe too, but I know the difference between PAL and NTSC :-) OK, what we become in this 1 DVD + 2 CD box is a touch with Maestro's music from year 2007 from beautiful Venice at the night ... pictures from Venice colored with Morricone's music .. you get the best-known pieces from his work for cinema .. the usual classics. And you get some not so usual titles (Vatel f.e.). Perfect music, perfect orchestra, perfect sound, perfect place (Square of Holy Marco .. place, where began legendary Marco Polo adventures - do you know Morricone's wonderful music for the TV-Series "Mrco Polo", directed by Giulano Montaldo? If not, get for it soon as possible...). Sometimes close the circle magic up, on places, where mysteries and adventures just begins ... and where the endless stories fly to the heaven full of night with unforgettable music .. Thank you, Maestro, you deserve not less than 5 stars.

Filmed in high definition, featuring many of Morricone's best loved film scores including:
(The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), (The Mission), (Once Upon A Time In The West), (Once Upon A Time In America).
Morricone is traveling around the world performing this amazing concert for peace, which was conducted in front of the United Nations, portions of which can be seen on this DVD set.
