Movie Reviews of Encino ManMovie Review: Super fun movie!!! Infectious Grooves is in the house. Summary: 5 Stars
This is such a fun movie to watch. It is so goofy and ridicualous and you never get tired of watching it. Encino Man and Pauly Shore is one of the reasons why the early 90s ruled. There are so many cool scenes in this like when Stoney takes Link to 7-11 and they cruise the aisles looking for some grindeage to munch on. And when they go to the Mountian and ride the Viper in reverse. And the drivers ed scene when Link thinks it is Rad Mobile and he puts it up on two wheels and they end up at the bar with all the Mexicans. "You see that girl muchacho. Dont look at her!" The prom scene was cool to, it had Infectious Grooves in it. They are a real band but that song was made for the movie. The singer and bass player are in Suicidal Tendencies and the bass player plays for Metallica now. But anyways... Yeah , this movie is totally radical. Daves room is really cool to. I wish my room was that rad. The school looks cool too. I wish my high school was like that. I notice that whenever i watch something like this that was filmed in the early 90s everything seemed real bright and cheerful. Am i crazy or has anyone else noticed this? Pauly Shores punch lines and phrases never get old. They age like a fine wine... Bud-dy.
Movie Review: One of the best movies ever made Summary: 5 Stars
I think that this movie is one of the best movies ever made.. It had humor a good plot and even suspence (not a lot, but it was not a suspence movie). I think that if u go to see a movie with Pauly Shore u need to expect certain things. People who say that the film has plot errors or problems in the idea of the whole movie never should have tried to enjoy a great movie like this one. When u go to see a comedy movie you should concentrate less on a plot and more on having a good time enjoying the movie. The acting in the movie was great in my opinion. I would highly recommend any movie with Pauly Shore. I loved this movie...if u are incapable of having a good time u won't.. Badd
Movie Review: Wheez the juice!-from Linko Vich Chomalski(Garry Hixon) Summary: 5 Stars
You see you've got your 4 basic food groups,cornnuts-meat group, sweettarts-fruit group, Abba Zabba'a-vegatable group, milk duds-dairy group. To wheez the juice is to go to 7-eleven, and put your mouth under the hose to wheeze the juice downward, to your waiting lips. Microwave burrito, always cook thoroughly, or hot on the outside, icy cold in the middle. "I'll be back" "Radmobile!!!!" "Look at him ,he's a caveman for goodness sake!" "Look at him, in his day he fought for food and survival, what would he be fighting for!" "To save face, to be cool, to protect himself from airheads like Matt!" No, I have a caveman in my backyard! Sure Dave!"-Linkovich Chomalski(Garry Hixon)
Movie Review: One of the best comedies EVER made!!! Summary: 5 Stars
How can I elaborate how funny this movie is?First off, for as funny as he is, this is Pauly Shore's BEST performance ever! Pauly Shore's one-liners will get laughs out of those who appreciate a good dialogue and script, whereas Brendan Fraser's slapstick comedy will make those of us who appreciate just the simple, funny stuff, very happy! In the end, we have a perfect blend of comedy's best two forms of laughter-creation! And may I add that this film offends no racial groups of cultures --- pretty amazing for a comedy as great at this one!
Movie Review: Encino Man Summary: 5 Stars
The concept is, of course, totally unrealistic, that a caveman could be frozen for thousands of years, and still survive when thawed out. But that doesn't stop the viewer from having a great time watching. It takes a little while to understand Pauly Shore's Encino slang, but he definitely steals the show. Trivia note: the mother (Mariette Hartley) played the part of an ice age woman in the old Star Trek TV show. She was the woman that rescued Bones and Spock from the cold, and Spock fell in love with her.
