Movie Review: THIS MASTERPIECE DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED

Emperor of the North is one of those movies that when one see it, one can't help, but wonder why no one hardly knows of it? Powerful acting, by powerful actors, and yet it's, as if, this movie doesn't even exist. The climax of this movie, with Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine fighting within that moving train box car is the toughest and meanest fight ever filmed. Thank goodness, that it is on DVD, because it's worth remembering.Movie Review: Emperior Of The North

Survival of the fittest, My way or the highway, are, in my opinion, the main bones of contention through out this film. Pride, ego, are also key elements. Borgnine, Marvin, Carradine, boy "the bad, the good, the ugly", what more be said? If your a steam train lover, like I am, you are in for a special treat. I bought this for a Train Nut who's been looking for it on TV for the last few years. I finally broke down and went looking for in on the internet. To my surprise I enjoyed it also. The scenery was beautiful of course being the Northwest. I even liked the Hobo camps the train story. Ernest Borgine & Lee Marvin are great! This is a sleeper that all will enjoy!Movie Review: great drama

an older movie,but one of the best for railfans, and one of the best for Marvin and Borgnine,great drama great music and great story,rather absorbing movie,It's been around a long time, and been run a lot on tv, but is always an interesting,and different fare, the only drawback I can think of is it does have it's violent moments.
