First off, Emergency! is big favorite of mine as is all Webb TV; as in actor, director Jack Webb. With four season sets out, things were looking good when season 3 was released. Then came season 4 with most episodes looking like they were mastered from a 25 year-old VHS rental.
When Universal successfully farmed out season 2 of Adam-12 to SHOUT! Factory, we all had hope that possibly Dragnet and Emergency! and other Webb projects would follow suit. BUT, let us all have a bit of faith in the suits at Universal for a proper DVD release. Perhaps the massive fire experienced at Universal Studios will guide the powers to be in releasing pristine remastered episodes of a classic TV treasure.

According to good friend L.C., it looks like Universal has let us down again! How Universal can move Adam 12 to SHOUT! Factory with magnificent success and still market DVD garbage under the Universal label is beyond belief.

1st off, I'm happy that Universal has released now 5 of 6 full seasons of Emergency with 'season 7' made up of a number of feature length sequels! However you describe them it would be nice to have them to complete your Emergency! collection.
It's a great show with a high 'watch-ability' factor. A comedic, dramatic medical show that makes it's point without being grizzly. BUT, once again Universal has chosen the cheap, lazy way by the use of trashy syndication master tapes. I'm very glad to have the series but don't you think Universal would have more pride in their work?
