Movie Review: Really good telenovela, DVD too abridged.
Summary: 4 Stars
This was a really good telenovela. I was addicted to it for months! The best part of the story is Helena Rojo's story and acting, so much better than anything else. I so prefer the day to day watching though, this does not have scenes that I think should have been included. It is way too abridged.
Summary of El Privilegio de Amar
Luciana finds herself alone and destitute. When her child is born, her situation is so desperate that she is forced to abandon her beautiful daughter at the door. Twenty years have gone by and Luciana is a changed person. She is now a successful business woman. She owns an exclusive fashion house and is married to Andres, a handsome TV star. Cristina, Luciana's long-lost daughter, has grown up to become a decent beautiful young woman. Cristina finds a job in Luciana's fashion house and, after many humiliations and hardships, becomes a famous model. Nicolas is an actor who has always envied Andres, his fame, his beautiful wife and his money.
