A clever and incisive film that portrays the complex interrelation between professional and personal dreams, The Archimedes Principle taps into the dark side of ambition, jealousy, revenge and infidelity. Sonia, a high ranking executive who barely has time for her family, offers to help her friend and neighbor Rocio by finding her a job in the fashion agency where she works. Soon Rocio's career fast tracks ahead of Sonia's causing adversities in their personal lives. The plot takes a sudden turn when business mixes with pleasure and both protagonists fall victim to the ultimate form of betrayal.
