Movie Review: Worth a watch and plenty laughs

Eddie kills you in both videos. I remember when you could hardly get a copy of those movies, and now you can get a copy for no more than $5 at the bargain table at Walmart. Nevertheless, Murphy delivers with a skit of him as a child entertaining(more like embarassing) his family with a joke at Thanksgiving as a child. Look for a young Tatyana Ali singing Frankie Lymon's "Why Do Fools Fall in Love", Samuel L. Jackson,Leonard Jackson and others in roles. This is one of Eddie Murphy's released movie version of one of his live stand-up performances. Eddie talks about divorce and relations between the sexes, but also goes into some of the problems he's encountered because of fame, including offended listeners and fans who continually greet him with his unprintable catch phrases. Whether you like Eddie Murphy or not, his performance in "Raw" is quite a show, and his song medley at the end is a hilarious finish. If you've never seen this movie you're in for a treat.

If you get offended by any joke here, you're TOO SENSITIVE, LIGHTEN UP, LAUGH BEFORE YOU FREEZE YOURSELF TOO DEATH, AND BUY THIS DVD. Besides Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Chris Rock, and Bill Maher, the spirit of this type comedy knows unparalleled genius for its refusal to compromise. This performance by Eddie Murphy had me laughing from start to finish, this is Eddie at his best. Forget the movies, forget the acting this is what made Eddie Murphy famous and that is from start to finish.
This is Eddie's look on life no matter how explicit it may be, he hits on everything from relationships to movies. This is incredible funny and if you haven't seen it you will love it because it is truly a classic.

Eddie Murphy's "Raw" is still one of the rop 3 funniest recorded stand up events I've ever seen. Unless you're a P.O.W. you really have no reason as to why you have not yet seen this film.
A definitive collector's item. It is genuinely timeless and still relevant 20+ years later.
Highly recommended! You will enjoy this, without a doubt.
