Movie Review: The way it should be seen...

Looked jaw droppingly good when compared to some of the older DVD Transfers. This is one of my all time favourites with amazing production value, set design and storyline (ok, so some of the effects look a bit dodgy when compared with today's photorealistic CGI and effects). So happy that David Lynch turned down Star Wars and stuck with his guns to do this. Just a shame that it got swept away by the Star Wars limelight as it's almost criminal that the rest of the books weren't made into film...Movie Review: great classic on a superb disc !!

this movie is a true classic and now it`s here on HD-DVD !!! the image quality is awesome for such a old movie and also the audio track is very nice . to bad this is just the standard version and not the director`s cut , but i`m not complaining , i`m glad they released this in on HD-DVD !!! if you like these kind of sci-fi classics you wont be dissapointed by this one . now bring on the origenal star wars trilogy in HD :-)Movie Review: Magnificent!

I have seen this David Lynch film many times over the years on video and this is by far the finest version of the film that I have ever seen. I doubt that it looked (or sounded) this good in the theatre. It is not a film for everyone and I'd suggest it only for fans of Lynch. It is mostly a very dark and slow moving film but on HD DVD, it is just magnificent!Movie Review: Good remaster of a classic

Good HD restoring and remastering job. I had just watched the restored DVD version, and can definitely say that the HD version is much higher quality. It is, though, the so called "short version" of the film, as originally shown in theaters, not the "extended" version that came out later on DVD. I love this movie, and have watched it many times in the past. I ordered the DVD because I'm using a DVD Player now. However be careful when ordering from a list. I found out that a HD DVD will not play on my player.
