Movie Review: It May Be Dumb, But It's Hilarious

Dumb and Dumber is one of the most entertaining movies of all time, and one of Jim Carrey's finest works. The heart-wrenching story of a man and his best friend going on a journey to find a woman in order to return her bag to her won't bring a tear to your eye, but it will definately make you laugh. Jeff Daniels, an actor who isn't considered by most people as funny, does a grear job in this movie as the dumb one of the two, this is obvious when he and Carrey are attempting to read a newspaper. The dumber of the two, Jim Carrey, provides more laughs than ever, and a huge collection of new jokes. As with most comedy movies, this movie isn't judged by the quality of the story, but rather the quality and quantity of its jokes. This movie's story is actually not too bad. The only problem you'll have during this movie is constant laughing due to the constant slapstick provided by Carrey and Daniels. Dumb and Dumber is one of my favorite slap/stick comedies I've ever seen. Jim Carrey and Jack Daniels are the perfect pair for this movie.The plot is that Lloyd (Jim Carrey) sees this gorgeous lady-Mary Swanson-while taking her to the airport and he falls in love with her at first sight. The lady is one her way to Aspen,Colorado and right before she leaves the airport she forgets her briefcase. Now it's Lloyd's and Harry's (Jack Daniel's)turn to return the briefcase, and maybe see if Lloyd can get the girl.
Most of the humor in this movie is on the way to Aspen. Overall, this movie is excellent! I highly recommend this movie to comedy lovers!

Movie Review: Funny and Funnier

This movie is so frickin funny I can't put to words. Is it stupid? Well.... yeah. Is it a kind of movie a little kid would enjoy? Well........ yeah. But is it funny? Hell muther f'n yeah. O.K. I really don't feel bad for liking this movie because I love stupid movies like this one. But I saw it with my girlfriend at the time and she is one of those people that hates slapstick comedies. You know she loves the Dramas, the thought provocking, criticly aclaimed motion pictures and all that bull. But when the movie ended I asked her if she enjoyed it and she said that although she hated to admit it but she loved it. I know there's many of people out there like her but trust me this movie will make you laugh at the most stupidest things you'll be ashamed at the stuff you'll be laughing at. At the end of the movie you'll be saying to your self " I can't belive I laugh at that, it was so stupid." Stupid yeah but funny very funny.Movie Review: Hilarious entertainment!!!

Everyone should see Dumb and Dumber before they die. It's gut-bustingly funny!This movie follows Lloyd Christmas and Harry Doyle as they drive from Rhode Island to Aspen to deliver a briefcase full of ransom money to Mary Swanson, a rich socialite whose husband has been kidnapped.
There's a lot of toilet humor here (literally), but it all works! The scene where Harry discovers that the toilet doesn't work after he's already used it is hilarious.
My favorite scene is where Lloyd (Carrey) is getting a toenail manicure. Lloyd had thick yellow toenails, and they needed to be filed down. The lady tried using a small hand-sized file, but after making little progress, she started using a power sander to file down his toenails. When she touched his toenails with the power sander, sparks started flying everywhere! I almost lost control of my bowels when I saw that scene - it's uproarious!!!

Hilarious as it was with two unemployed guys down on their luck until Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) decides that he and his pal Harry (Jeff Daniels) should get plugged into the social pipeline - all because of a briefcase left behind by the girl of Lloyd's dreams - and getting tangled up in a kidnap for ransom plot. Unknown to them, they were being pursued by two thugs, following them 2,000 miles from Providence to Aspen.
This was one of Jim Carrey's best movies, using his hilarious style of humor and acting as he had in "Liar Liar", the "Ace Ventura" series, "Cable Guy" and "Me, Myself and Irene", making the most annoying sounds, dueting "Mockingbird" with Jeff Daniels and both being dressed in the most outlandish tuxedos that seem to come from another time. This movie is sure to cause any Jim Carrey fan to roll around the floor in laughter and this is one movie that is too funny to miss out.
