Movie Reviews of Dumb and Dumber

Movie Review: One of the greatest comedies ever made!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I simply love this movie.
Delivering exactly what its title promises, this celebration of stupidity was Jim Carrey's 1994 follow-up to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Mask. The film pairs the rubber- faced wacky man with Jeff Daniels as the not-so-dynamic duo of Lloyd and Harry, dunderheads who come into the possession of a briefcase containing ransom money that is intended for Mob-connected kidnappers. Lauren Holly costars as the woman who lost the briefcase, and with whom Carrey falls in love (both in real life and as his moronic on-screen character). As Lloyd and Harry make a mad dash to return the briefcase (never aware of its contents), the bumbling buddies attract Mobsters, cops, and trouble galore. This lowbrow laugh-a-thon scores some solid hits for hilarity.

The movie is funny period and is one of the funniest movies ever!
This folks is a dvd you should keep in your collection.
This is also the most original comedies ever made. This dvd is original by all means with good quality and the whole ganangra.

Jimm carey and Jeff Daniels should of got nominated for this comedy. I first saw this movie when it came out and still Im not bored with it cause its the funniest movie ever made!

Movie Review: Better than just one in a million!
Summary: 5 Stars

The first time I saw this movie my friends and I couldn't hardly breathe from laughing so hard. Dumb & Dumber is a welcome breath of fresh air in the comedy genre. Watching it truly gives one somewhat of a liberating experience...to laugh at the lives of two lunatics who are so clueless that they don't even recognize their pitiful condition. You can't help but get hysterical over their hopeless logic and the sources of their amusement and drama. The humor of this movie is a little different from many comedies though. There are a lot of word plays, hidden surprises and delayed punchlines that you only find after watching it a few times...seems I see something new each time I watch it. The broader your experience and frame of reference, the better you'll understand many of the word plays and double meanings. It takes some people watching it a few times before they begin to like it. For those of you who appreciate childish humor and corny jokes, this movie will suck you right in. This is, by far, my favorite movie to quote even though it's been out for some time. Maybe some of us are a little closer to understanding lunacy (which is actually more of a commentary on myself than the movie)!

Movie Review: Just hilarious!
Summary: 5 Stars

By far Jim Carrey's best film he has ever done in his entire life. Even if you can't stand him, you can't help laughing in this. The film is about Lloyd (Jim Carrey) and Harry (Jeff Daniels, who is equally as funny). Lloyd is at his Limo driving job and he picks a woman up to take to the airport. But he falls deeply in love with her, and when he drops her off, she forgets to take her briefcase and Lloyd chases after her... but he just misses her (an excellent scene!). So, he doesn't know what to do with the case. He persuades his friend Harry to go out in their car to find her and give it back to her. Harry soon says: "ok" and they headto Aspen to return the case. But the case isn't what the seem it is to be, and they could be the wrong guys to have hold of it.

The film has just so many out-ragious scenes, including a scene in a restaurant were they fill this guys' bruger up with spicy peppers and he heats up when he takes a bite. The film does come to one of those endings were the villain shows up and it gets less funny and more serious.

So, right from the very minute this starts you'll be laughing. Any words that come out from Harry or Llyod's mouth is just so hilarious.

Movie Review: Simply the Funniest "Adolescent" Humorous Movie Ever Made!
Summary: 5 Stars

Jim Carrey is a comedic genius. His facial expressions, his physical comedy, and his irreverence all combine to make him one of the funniest comic movie actors today. He absolutely shines in this movie about two dolt-heads who make their way across country to deliver a suitcase full of money to the woman that misplaced it (Lauren Holly). With their penchant for getting into trouble, the boys accidently stumble into some bad dudes who want to kill them for the suitcase of money. It is a laugh a minute until the movie ends.

Carrey's partner in comedy is Jeff Daniels, and he matches Carry nearly scene for scene. The two together are fantasticly funny. There are too many scenes to mention where they had me bend over laughing. The jokes come about every second minute, so if one does not get your funny bone, another zinger is on its way. There is so much to laugh at in this movie that your stomach muscles will get a good workout!

Whenever I need a lift in spirit, this is the movie that does it for me.

If you like Carrey and funny movies, then this is your ticket to happiness! Highly recommended!!!

Movie Review: One of the best comedys of all time. It is fall down funny.
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie is basically about two numbskulls, Harry and Lloyd. Lloyd is a limo driver, and he picks up a woman that is going to Aspen,Colorado. They get to the airport and he sees her leave the suitcase that she had, and he picks it up. He takes it back to his apartment, with him, and convinces his friend Harry to go on a cross-country trip to give the suitcase back to her. the moments that follow are insanely hilarous.

Jim Carrey had a token year that year, he had a string of hits, Ace Ventura, The Mask, and this. He has a solid knack for physical and verbal comedy. He can do impressions really well, and has showed that in his films. Jeff Daniels, probably a new comer to the Comedy game, because mainly he has done some really serious roles, can make you laugh really hard with his stupid, yet funny questions. The Farelly Brothers are comedic brillance, They have had made seriously funny movies over the past 10 years that they have existed. They are a wonderful pair of directors, and I hope they make more. This film was one of the best comedic movies I have ever seen. It is so histarically funny. I guarentee that you won't stop laughing.
