Movie Review: Fascinating....

This movie has a lot of excellent content and it's well shot, South American aerial views are stunning, the footage from Brazil and surrounding Pablo Escobar's murder are phenomenal. I deeply appreciate the social justice sentiments presented and special features that include "underground" footage taken from notorious gang hangouts, interviews with drug vigilantes and a special short about the execution of Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug lord who became one of the richest men in the world by smuggling cocaine.
Good stuff.

People have been using drugs since the beginning of time and for almost as long someone has been trying to stop it. The war on drugs has been a constant battle in the world and there is no end in sight. The propaganda put forth by various governments about their individual efforts to combat drug trafficking is usually somewhere in between a lie and a cover up. DRUG WARS will look to expose these fallacies as well as delve into the culture of drugs in various lands.
