Movie Reviews of Drop Dead GorgeousMovie Review: Drop Dead Fantastic ! Summary: 5 Stars
This is undoubtedley one of the best films of this year. The jokes are sharp and witty, the plot is original and complex, the cast are magnificent, particularly Kirsten Dunst (Dick, Interview With the vampire, Little Women), they all have a wonderful rapport, and they play off each other. Kirstie Alley sparkles in her best role to date, as the organiser of the paegent. See this film in the cinema, see it on video, see it on DVD, but SEE IT !
Movie Review: Laughs! Summary: 5 Stars
I originally purchased this because of the price, and I'm glad that I did. I love a lot of Kirsten Dunst's work and this movie is no expection. More slap-stick comedy than her recent rolls, this movie is funny! Most of the humor comes from the supporting actors. Brittany Murphy, the giggly girl, has a very touching scene with Amer (Dunst). If you ever need a good laugh to turn that frown upside-down, this is a goo movie to watch! :c)
Movie Review: Just saw the TV version!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm originally from MN, don't you know. Ya sure, you betcha I loved this movie. Actually, I only lived a few miles from the scene of the "Apple Sales"/"Funeral Home". No joke, there is such a place!!!! Minnesotans fortunately are able to poke fun at themselves. Think Coen brothers, Garrison Keillor, etc. Perhaps if you can't beat'em, (meaning anyone not from MN), join'em. And remember to pronouce Minnesota with a very long emphasized "O".
Movie Review: Hillarious Summary: 5 Stars
Denise Richards, Kristie Alley and Kirsten Dunst made me laugh. Kristie Alley plays the snooty mom of Becky Ann Leeman(played by Denise Richards). Kirsten Dunst portrays town girl Amber Atkins, snooty Becky's competition. The story focuses on the teen pageant of a small Minnesota town. The judges, the teens, the mayhem-it's all off the wall. You've got to watch this movie that showcases the most hilarious process of elimination.
Movie Review: are you sure john waters didn't direct this? Summary: 5 Stars
this was probably one of the most amusing films made all year long. I love the accents. They are just about the most annoying things i've ever heard. The first time i saw this movie i was utterly impressed. I couldn't believe how campy it was. Denise Richards was terribly amusing. I really enjoyed the Lutheran jokes. The last few scenes are disturbing, but hilarious. If you like john waters movies this is a must see.
