Movie Review: all I can say about this film is...WOW!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have seen a lot of Jackie Chan movies and own a lot also. I never saw this one until I bought it a week ago. No rental place had this movie, GRRR. I heard it was great and so I waited for the DVD version and I bought it, and WOW! this is my favorite Jackie Chan movie now. Its funny and has lots of fights. And not just any fights, but some of the best fight scenes in any JC movie. The boat scene is awesome and the finale is SPECTACULAR. I loved Yuen Biao at the end of the movie, this is the best fighting I have ever seen him do. Also Jackie has a rematch with Benny "The Jet" from Wheels on Meals and this fight is just as good as the first one. If you havent seen Wheels on Meals then go rent it and watch the last fight with Jackie and Benny, one word describes that fight, AWESOME. The only thing I didnt like about the movie was how the boss of the bad guys was puffing away on his cigar, he looked really stupid doing it so much, but that is a tiny little teeny tiny problem. If your gonna buy a Jackie Chan movie, buy this, you will love it.

The DVD version I have is just like the Young Master version if you happen to have that. It is subtitled in like 10 different languages, readable thank god. It even has a filmography that gives a list of all the movies Jackie, Sammo, and Yuen have been a part of. And it has their biographies, brief but enough so you know where they came from and how they got here, etc. The sound is good and picture quality is pretty good also. But hey, JUST BUY IT cause you cant hate this movie, its impossible!

Movie Review: Movie not available not right now, wtf. It's ok, you can just tape it off of spike tv like i did.
Summary: 5 Stars

Wow, what an awesome movie. I have seen this like 4 times now and it just gets better every time. I am ALWAYS seeing something new. It is not like jackie's old school golden harvest films but has much more of a kinetic type of energy that just sucks you into the tv and you can't look away. So they don't go through a fight scene with like no cuts for 2 straight minutes but this movie is HARD HITTING. BEnny the Jet Urquedez vs jackie chan is one of the coolest thing ever put to the kung fu screen. he is caled Jet for a reason people. And if the jet that you are thinking of fought him, it would not work out very well for the little guy. Benny is actually more respected than Chuck Norris in the world Kickboxing Federation. BEnny went 200-0. Seriously, the guy never lost. If you wanna see Benny and Jackie Part one, check out "Wheels On Meals"(Seriously, that is the name of it). Add in a dream matchup like yuen biao vs. BIllY CHOW, and you have one of the best kung fu movies all time. AAnd did I mention that samo is in it. I didn't, ok, here is a few more. Philip Ko. Yuen Wah. Lo Lieh... And if you have ever seen legend of a fighter, this movie has sanaka it in(the japanese guy who kills himself after beardy beats him in a fight). IT HAS FREAKING

So of course this movie could haev been better, but not really too much by kung fu standards. The fu is easily the best it gets, and for a jackie film, I would rate this as his best new school type of kung fu movie performance. EASILY!!!!!

Movie Review: Three martial superstars in one fun film
Summary: 5 Stars

Jackie chan is amazing. Sammo Hung is amazing. Yuen Biao is amazing. Put the three of them in a movie, and it'd be hard to end up with something bad. Well, in this case, you end up with something great.

To begin with, there's the martial arts. These guys are three of the best Asian cinema has to offer. Yuen Biao, though not widely know in America, is considered to be one of the most athletic martial artists around. Of course, Jackie and Sammo are no slouches either, and this movie delivers a lot of colorful action.

But it's also funny. It reminds me of those old screwball comedies of the fifties. It's ridiculous, absurd comedy based on misunderstandings and well-intentioned deceptions. The scene where Jackie's date is interrupted by his two fighting friends is damn funny. And the interaction between these three friends is what makes this film a classic.

For another great collaboration of this terrific trio, check out "Wheels on Meals", another fine film.

Movie Review: Five Stars For the Action, Two For PLot, None For Music
Summary: 5 Stars

Quite possibly one of the best Jackie Chan films to ever grace the silver screen. Not only does it have Jackie (in his prime), but it also contains three of his former classmates: Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung (now in CBS's Martial Law), and Yuen Wah (from Supercop). The Fight scenes directed by Sammo are probably the best of his career. The humor is actually funny for once, there is somewhat of a plot (it's "The Usual Suspects" compared to "Mr. Nice Guy" and other recent flicks), and the action and stunts are downright astonishing at times. If you want to see Jackie when he was young and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, rent this one.

The only downside is that the amazing talent of Yuen Biao wasn't used as much as it should have.

Buy It!

Movie Review: A Triumphant reunion.
Summary: 5 Stars

Ever since Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, and Yuen Baio where in the Chinese Opera School together they had a wonderful friend/enemy relationship. This movie, wich is hopefully not their last movie together, was infact one of the best movies any of these talented people have starred in. One of the very many reasons to buy this movie is the reunion of old opera schoolmates wich makes for great slap-stick comedy and a touching story. This movie is THE BEST, hands down. Jackie Chan gives a 5 * performance, along with his big brother Samo Hung and his Little Brother, Yeun Baio. Thanks for reading my review and, if you buy this movie, congrats because you have just bought a piece of history that may (i hope) be repeated soon.
