Movie Review: Another 80's Classic!!!
Summary: 4 Stars
This was a really good buddy-cop comedy of the 80's! Although I never saw the original series, so I can't compare it to the show. Dan Akroyd does an awesome job as Joe Friday and Tom Hanks does an awesome job as Pep Streebek! Joe is by-the-books, and Pep is more laid back. They investigate a cult known as P.A.G.A.N. and try to get just the facts and stop the leader and save the girl! If you love comedy and cop action, you'll love DRAGNET!!!Movie Review: Riotous

As a big fan of Jack Webb and the 1960s Dragnet, Dan Aykroyd couldn't have parodied him better! I look at this as imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and I'm sure Webb would've appreciated it. I love it when Friday and Streebek (after wrecking multiple vehicles) get issued a Yugo "on the cutting edge of Serbo-Croatian technology". Hilarious!Movie Review: Dragnet

"It was a hot day in Los Angeles..." The watcher should have had the opportunity to really see Joe Friday in his day to make the spoof really work!
Certainly not one most would consider for any sort of award, BUT IT'S A SPOOF...not intended to be a black spot on Jack Webb, but he was laughing himself when it was made!

It's been several years since I've seen this movie, but I remember that it was non-stop laughs when I saw it. I recommend that If you want to have a riotous evening,(or any other time you see it)purchase this movie. The product was delivered quickly and packaged well. The DVD played without any problems at all. While the jewel case did not seem very strong, there was no physical damage. I would purchase more products like this, based on this experience.
