Movie Review: Entertaining & Funny

I have been looking for this to come out on DVD a long time. I have it on VHS & my husband & I roar with laughter every time we watch it. It shows the "by the book" type of hype is usually not the way to go and unorthodox & different sometimes works better. The cast is great as a group of outcasts chosen specially by a particular general for a war game to fail. But Kelsey Grammer as the Commander brings the best out of this group with a great deal of humor.Movie Review: Entertaining & Funny

This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen and it's a crime it hasn't been released on DVD until now. Every character in it is quirky and funny and the writing and acting is fantastic. Even Lauren Holly manages to put in a decent performance as Lt. Lake. Why this movie seems to have a cult status is beyond me because it's funnier than almost anything I've seen since it was released in 1996. At $13 it's worth every penny - buy it!!Movie Review: WHY THE WAIT?

I join the others in stating UNEQUIVOCALLY that this is one of my favorite movies. It ranks with Operation Petticoat! My only question: Paramount, why the wait?
The movie is clever, funny, and DIFFERENT. Maybe not all too much in the way of acting, but you are not watching it for believability. You are watching it to LAUGH and you WILL laugh!
Kelsey Grammar and Lauren Holly are superb in their roles!
Movie Review: Guilty Pleasure

Whenever anyone asks me what my "guilty pleasure" is, this movie is the first thing that pops in my mind. It's not a classic in the "classic" sense, but it is one of the most fun movies I've ever seen and I watch it over and over any time I need a laugh. I'm ecstatic that it's finally coming out on DVD. My VHS copy is so warn it was time to replace it. Now I can with something that will likely last longer than me!
