Movie Review: Jean Claude! Jean Claude! Jean Claude!

I liked this movie. I think my favorite Van Damme movies are this one, Sudden Death and Time Cop. It would be really cool if they could have included the commercial for this movie. I don't know if you remember it but it went something like this: Van Damme in a double role... It's twice the punches, twice the kicks, it's too Damme much! Jean Claude also has my respect in that he voiced his irritation in the Hollywood crowd who stood in protest. Jean Claude gets five stars and my respect. MAN! When I first heard about this movie I thought that FINALLY the videogame Double Dragon will come to a live-action movie. but no! The story, title and characters were VERY similar to the videogame but not excactly the same.
Now! What makes this movie BETTER than the cheesy video-game movie Double Dragon is that the action is HARD-CORE!! I mean... Van Damme use two pistols to shoot a lot of bad guys, the karate movements were AWESOME, there is blood and lot's of shooting, some cool explotions, fight between brothers, and pretty thought girls.
This movie is what Double Dragon shoulded be in the first place.
But! What makes this movie not sooo good is that Van Damme looks kind of gay as one of the brothers, many action scenes were interrupted by blah,blah,blah! and the acting wasn't good.
If you are looking for a movie that is very similar to the video-game Double Dragon or just simply a good Van Damme movie then this movie is for you, but if you are looking for "NON-STOP BEAT THEM ALL" action like the Bruce Lee movies then search somewere else.

Usually Jean-Claude's films are excellent (except for Street Fighter)but there was something missing from this film.Its not that bad but not the best.I hope he gets back on his feet.
