Movie Review: A Timeless film to grow up with
Summary: 5 Stars
I first saw this as a very young child with my mother.
People young and old who are very empathetic and imaginative,
Will love and be emotionally drained by this stunningly simple and yet Hugely Human film. Watch a child watch it, they will not understand the reaction they have to it, but they will come away much,much better for it.

Though I haven't seen this movie since the days when it was on Beta, I know that I will absolutely love it ten times more now that it's on DVD. I was two years old when the film was released and to this day, it remains one of my favorites. I absolutely adored this movie when I was a child. I can remember watching it over and over again and never getting tired of it!!! I cannot wait until this comes in. I've pre-rated the DVD, a little prematurely, but I trust that it will be wonderful. This movie was my favorite childhood film. I am so glad they put this movie on DVD. I have an old beta tape of it but our beta recorder is history. About five years ago I called every video store in town and one small one had it to rent. This is good story about friendship and I love how they have a real life nature background. Awesome selection.
