Movie Review: Johnny Depp at his best
Summary: 5 Stars
Ten years since this movie was released, and I JUST discovered it. I rented the VHS today, what a "find," and I'm ordering the DVD. The three main characters are likable and interesting, especially Depp (of course) and Brando. The movie has heart and humor. The script and direction are excellent. It's a fable, a story that makes viewers think about reality and fantasy, life as it appears or as we choose to see it, especially how we deal with the events in our lives and their results, real or imagined.Movie Review: I was very surprised.

I bought this for my Johnny Depp collection. I didn't think it would be that great of a movie and would just be one of those fluffy chick flicks. I was very surprised to find out it was a really good movie. It's unusual, gets you thinking and keeps you thinking even after it's over. Brando and Dunaway were just perfect for their roles and I loved watching them interact. And it's not just for chicks---actually, I believe it may have been made for men to help them understand women more.Movie Review: what a wonderfull . . .

oh, wait, i do have such a woman . . . and we both cried at one point or another . . . anyway, we both laughed out loud frequently. all the more reason to watch it with someone you love.
fun, funny, full of life and well worth the while.

This was a beautiful movie and a great story of love. However, the most extraordinarily beautiful scene was when Selena was singing. Her captivating presence and voice should have been in the movie more. Her song "Tu Solo Tu" was cut from the soundtrack. I urge everyone out there to seek that song out and you will come to know how an angel sounds when she sings! Everyone involved in this movie made it special. Siempre Selena!
