Movie Review: A "must have" Christmas dvd!
Summary: 5 Stars
This dvd is excellent! For years I loved watching the VHS version of this sing-a-long classic and was very excited when it came out on dvd. Yes, they did change a few things, but I think the changes are wonderful! They added several new songs, and I love the opening with the the little Christmas town and train set. My kids (8, 6, 3) enjoy watching this video year-round, and I love listening to it. All of the songs but two are secular, but that's to be expected. (I was a little worried that they would omit the two Christian songs when they made the dvd, but fortunately they're still there.) I think my favorite thing about this movie is that, in my opinion, all of the songs are the very best versions, sung in classic fashion by many of the artists that made them famous... No modern hip-hop versions or anything like that here. Absolutely one of our family favorites!
