Summary: 5 Stars
This video provided specific parenting situations with different ages of young children - and then went on to suggest solutions AND provided a short scene to demonstrate it! Very useful information using non-violent means to deal with some of the behaviors we all hope never happens in a public place; but often does. I was very impressed with the video, its overall production and the information provided. This will be used regularly in our parenting program.

Berry Brazelton shows parents that a firm but gentle approach is best for discipline of young children, and demonstrates practical techniques to set effective limits from the start. He explains why children actually look for limits and how the limits children learn in their first few years can build a foundation for the rest of their lives. Dr. Brazelton also offers advice and tips to help parents and caregivers manage their own emotions and avoid using physical punishment.
