Movie Reviews of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Movie Review: Great
Summary: 5 Stars

this is a smart, creative comedy that keeps you enthralled and laughing all the way through. Both Steve Martin and Michael Caine do a wonderful job in their somewhat archetypal roles, one as a crass american and the other as an educated, prim european. both are con men that meet head on and get into a bet to see who can get $50,000 out of an unlucky woman. the ending offers a nice twist and the film overall offers great laughs.

Movie Review: One of the classic comedies of all time
Summary: 5 Stars

Not being a comedy fan in general I let this one sit in my collection for quite some time before getting to it. How unfortunate. This one is destined to be one of the classic comedies. Two scoundrels set out to seduce unsuspecting well-to-do women of their money and end up being taken themselves. It has to be one of the funniest movies of all time. You will not want to miss this one.

Movie Review: Perfect Kind of Humor
Summary: 5 Stars

Most humor today is based on dropping f-bombs and using naked women, but this movie is the exact opposite. It's a timeless movie that uses just the right kind of humor. It makes you think for a second before you laugh, and it doesn't take many cheap shots. I wasn't a fan of older movies going into this, but after I saw it, I was amazed. It's just a great movie overall.

Movie Review: Funniest Movie Ever
Summary: 5 Stars

My wife and I both love this movie and have watched it a number of times. We even use some of the terms from the movie such as "Oklahoma, Oklahoma" when we see someone acting screwey. The movie is a remake of an older version with David Nivin and Marlon Brando. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedy in a movie.

Movie Review: Cork on the Fork!
Summary: 5 Stars

So many hysterical scenes that make everyone I watch it with laugh. The ending is one that I can only aspire too, and I can't give it away! However, I will say that watching con artists con eachother is on par with watching Josh Holloway trying to portray "Sawyer" his con-artist through the TV series Lost. Enjoy!
