Movie Review: Can you critics say F-A-N-T-A-S-Y?
Summary: 5 Stars
Jeeezzz...Some of you are looking for logical plot endings, complex characters, and great dialog.
This movie is meant to ENTERTAIN... This is not meant to be a realistic dinosaur movie -- it's FANTASY so cut it some slack.
By the way, I thought the sets were awesome -- made me want to visit Waterfall City. And the acting wasn't that bad either.

Just like Dinosaurs become real! The story is just like the Dinotopia series! This mega series truly catches the experience of James Gurney's Dinotopia. This is a truly good mega series! I had this movie, which I had copied from the TV and it disappeared! I was very unhappy as I like to watch it occasionally. I just saw the DVD movie, never read or even heard of the books. Very well made and fun to watch. Cool special effects, great plot. Very long (4 hours) but does not drag at all. Our 6 year old grandson is into dinosaurs big time. The only place we good locate the "Dinotopia" DVD is at Amazon.com., as "Dinotopia" is no longer available in stores. The DVD is in excellent condition and at this time has probably been viewed by our grandson at least five times.
