Movie Review: A refreshing change
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great movie for boys (my 3 yr old loves it) - and girls too. Its so refreshing actually having some strong female characters of different ages and stresses loyalty, friendship and teamwork. As for being too PC, I am bored and tired of buddy-buddy animated movies like Madagascar and Ice Age which just leave me - well - cold. Such movies are not doing young boys a service by ignoring female characters. Boys also have to learn to work and play with girls as equals. Aladar is a fine modern-day hero. The kind of person I would like my boys to become.Movie Review: Awesome Disney movie!

My two year old son loves this movie and would watch it for hours on end if I would let him. This is by far one of the best Disney movie purchases I have made this year. It has a nice plot, excellent tool to help toddlers understand friendships, love, teamwork, and being accepting of differences. I feel this is a good movie for adults as well because it stresses the strength of togetherness and the power within to overcome traumatic life experiences and adversities. In my opinion, Disney makes the best movies! Wish there was a sequel.Movie Review: An AWESOME movie! Ya have to c it!

I watched Dinosaur twice, and I loved it! It involves leadership qualities, and Aladar was the leader. I liked him, Neera, Suri, and Baylene and Eema. I thought Krone was nasty,( I mean, what the heck was his problem?), and I felt sorry for Bruton, even though he was a bit mean and rude. I was enchanted by the beautiful 3-D illustrations, and I liked the music even though it was a bit boring without words. The meteors were pretty, like falling stars in a view far away. I had my reservations about this movie before seeing it: "Talking Dinosaurs...Right!" However, after watching the first few minutes, I was hooked. The CGI is the best I've seen to date, and it is obvious that a great deal of research went into developing the anatomy of these characters. The storyline is simple and straightforward, with positive messages for all. I enjoyed it from beginning to end, and I'm 43! I'm looking forward to the upcoming DVD release, and plan to pick it up asap.Movie Review: NOTHING LIKE THE LAND BEFORE TIME

I see that some people think that Dinosaur is just a copy of "The Land Before Time". I don't think it's anything like "The Land Before Time". HELLO- "Land Before Time" didn't have lemurs in it, and it was all cartoon. I think that Disney took a long time to make this film for everyone to enjoy, but everyone is just putting it down. I read that it took around 12 years to make this film, with all the REAL backgrounds. I think it was very creative to have real backgrounds with an animated movie....
