Movie Review: Digimon at its best

Whether you like Anime, or you were into Digimon from the start, this series is awesome, and the movie did a great job of capturing it on the big screen.
Unlike Pokemon, Digimon (the movie as well as the actual show) has a great plot and an even greater set of characters, whom you see gradually mature over time. Everything about this movie captures the Digimon air fans know in the show: the humor (Davis and Tai especially), the adventure, the romance (the Tai/Sora relationship is simply tormented in the film, but in a way you know brings the two of them closer together), the friendship, etc.
It's one of my favorite films, and I just hope they'll have enough sense to translate the second movie sometime soon and bring it over to the States.

I currently own Digimon and the 2 Pokemon movies. What I like about movies are that I can watch them over again. But the Pokemon movies, if I try to watch them over again, I can't. The excitement isn't as good as the first time. But when I watch Digimon the movie again, It is as good as the first time. That means it is not a boring movie and I would want to watch it over and over again. If you are a digimon fan then you would enjoy this movie. It has a lot of digi facts. If you have no idea what digimon is and want to see the movie, it is a good idea because the movie is very informative about before the movie and after the movie. So it is definetly a movie I would buy or at least rent to see. Jonathan Richardson gives it a 10/10.Movie Review: 10x better than the TV show

Frankly, the TV show gets annoying. But I rented this movie just to check it out and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The movie is much better than the TV show in every way! The effects are cool (I wish the movie was in widescreen so we wouldn't have to sit through poorly mastered fullscreen transfers) and the multiple storyline will keep you interested for more than 90 minutes! The soundtrack is really good too, mostly filled with pop punk rock (unlike Pokemon, which got stuck with the pop soundtrack) and ska. If you just want to see a good kids anime movie, check this out. People should watch it with no expectations. Just watch it and enjoy it. Get the DVD though because DVD is just cooler!Movie Review: Digimon Rocks

I love the movie. It would be great for the whole family but there is some vionlence so it is rated PG. This movie has three movies in it.First movie Tai and kari are little and one night tai wakes up to go to the bathroom and finds kari stareing at a digiegg on the coumputer. The egg emearges from the coumputer and hatches later on.....
Second movie.
Everybodys busy except tai,izzi and sora. Izzi finds a egg on his coumputer and runs over to tai's house to show him. The egg hatches and starts to eat the data on the internet.What will happen next???????
Third like the second movie better because it has alot of action in it.

First let me say: You will either love or hate this movie and series. For Pokemon fans, it will be a boring Pokemon clone. For those of us with less narrow minds, or who don't mind watching well-done movies for the younger generation, it is a highly origional (Despite some serious monster look-alikes with pokemon) well-done series. The characters are much more filled in than pokemon, and have more on their minds then "catch them all lets battle yay i love my pikachu" On the whole, though I rather enjoy pokemon, Digimon has a magnificent and powerful storyline (for a kids show) and I recommend this: If you like Pokemon a lotlotlot, think twice before even renting this :)
