Movie Review: Tooo good for words
Summary: 5 Stars
I usually could talk for hours about how good I think Denzel Washington is, and I could talk even longer about a great movie but this is different it was too good. Maybe it was the surprise of it that made it have more impact, as I had only ever heard whispers about it before until I saw it on the shelves of my local DVD rental store. Positively one of the best private eye films ever. All technical aspects of the film were surperb, soundtrack excellently placed, Denzels performance was magical and supporitng cast brillianlty chosen.
An absolute GEM! Full of class and nastalgia, as close to classic as you can get in this torrid time of remakes and half baked modern movies.

Movie Review: Don Cheadle Steals The Show

Denzel Washington is my favorite actor of all time and I have seen all his movies accept his new one coming out in 2006 ''The Inside Man''. until I saw this movie with alot of great performances. There was this one character that Don Cheadle played that I really enjoyed by the name of Mouse Alexander a quick-slick killer named Mouse Alexander. I thought Cheadle gave a great performance playing Mouse which leaves Denzel in the corner. I think if it wasn't for Don Cheadle this would've not have one of the great movies of 1995.Movie Review: The NOIR in Film Noir

The first and only (as far as I know) that features a uniquely "Black American" cast and story line.
BEST line in the movie "If you didn't want him dead, you shouldn't have left him with me."
Watch This Movie... Buy this movie. I have 2 copies. Don and Denzel both rock.

To anyone thinking of purchasing "Devil in a Blue Dress", It's a "must see". The first time I saw this picture was years ago, on a VHS tape. I couldn't wait to purchase it on a DVD version. And the price was affordable. If you haven't had a chance to view this movie, I recommend checking it out. It worth being in your DVD movie collection.

Movie Review: One of Denzel's best flicks

I haven't a clue what those other reviewers were complaining about! I rarely see a flick that lives up to the novel that it was based on, but "Devil in A Blue Dress" comes awfully close! Don Cheadle definantly shines in this one, and Denzel gave his usual brilliant performance! I just wished that they had someone else play Daphne. Jennifer Beals just didn't work to me.
