Movie Review: Comedy + Action + Double D's = Good Times

I had my eye on this anime for a while, and I had decided that if I was going to buy this anime it would be this pretty boxed set and not the Viridian one. Really the only thing that held me back was the price. When I found this at a local "electronics retailer" for 40 bucks I grabbed it very quickly. I must say, I'm quite glad I did.
I'm not really sure what anime to compare this to. I guess the closest thing would be Trigun. This being due to the desert scenery along with the action/comedy blend. While not quite as unstoppable as Trigun, I wholeheartedly recommend this to you. That is, if you don't mind a bit of juvenile fun along with your anime.
Desert Punk is basically thought of as the "Desert Demon" by the innocent townsfolk, but unlike Vash he really does live up to his reputation. He's out for himself and the money that comes with beatin' up bad guys. Things may not turn out the way he expected though... And the ending is quite... thought provoking, to say the least.
The outer box is metal and beautifully designed, the metal is actually popped a bit outward through the picture of Desert Punk (the guy). Inside is a smaller fold-out box containing the DVDs.
