Movie Review: Sweet love story with good eye candy

Read the review by J.Edkin, I can't describe this movie much better. It is a sweet gay romance with many cliched elements like coming out and violence, but it is very realistic (listen closely to what seems to be some bad dialogue or poor writing and you will realize that is how college students really do talk and act!) and quite touching. The eye-candy is great, from the 2 gay leads to even the straight best friend! And Don Handfield, what a cutie--if he told me he wanted to wake up next to me in bed there is no way I could say no, no matter how in the closet I was! Watch Chilson's facial expressions in the hospital scene at the end and you will simply melt! And watch the credits for a "hidden" scene, that will make you swoon even more! A very enjoyable film. If you like sweet romances (some might call it sappy), you may find yourself watching this movie repeatedly!Movie Review: FINALLY!

It is so pleasent to once in a while have a movie that does NOT hand us the same old tired routine. The gay guy with the crush on his "Open Minded Friend" the Wise Cracking (...) Hag, the Brave in the face of tragedy Drag queen, or the sassy queen. Sheesh.This film is about a realtionship where one guy has come to grips with being gay and for a while the other is still scared and trying to keep one foot in both worlds.
I found this story a nice surprise and was so glad I rented it I bought the DVD. The actors reminded me of people I knew in school and it is nice to watch a film that you identify with.
I recomend this to all you guys looking for time off from depressing preachy gay movies so curl up on the couch with the guy in your life and watch.....Enjoy!

If a person cannot have an appreciation for this movie then I really dont think they should be allowed to view movies at all. This movie has completely changed my life and the way I look at things. I am totally moved by the touching story of the NIGHTMARE it can be to come to terms with who you are and do that on your own grounds. You will be able to appreciate the struggles "Griff" goes through even if you arent gay or have never been through a struggle so intense because its about people and what relationships with other people have to endure and how they grow into reality. I recommend all people buy this movie to learn about people and appreciate what it takes to put yourself on the line and be with someone. A+++++Movie Review: I'm lovin' it!

I love this movie. It is not overtly sexual. There are no nude scenes other that some shirtless frat boys. It is a romantic story. I think it is geared more toward the straight acting guys out there. There is one scary queen in it. You will not miss him/her/it. Lol! This movie shows heterosexuals at their best and worst behavior. For me, it's a comfort movie. If I have a bad day or just need something easy on the mind, this is it. Some may not agree but it is a favorite of mine. If you like this you should also see "The Trip". It is romantic, funny, serious, & heart wrenching.Movie Review: One of my favorite movies!

Now, I have to admit..the acting in this movie is not the most stellar you will ever see on the planet. BUT, if you look beyond that to the message....this is the movie for you. It probably is one the movies in my collection that I watch the most.
You have frat brothers....2 gay, one straight. A great story line...and a truly great story about how allied (straight) persons can be a great support to GLBT individuals in need! I love the ending of the story (which I will not spoil for you).
It's not too deep...but great to sit and enjoy!
