Movie Review: Screamingly Funny, Remarkably Deep

This dark comedy from my youth is still one of my favorites. Streep, Hawn, and Willis all deliver a star performance, and while the humor is always at the forefront - and will have you screaming with laughter - the underlying story is surprisingly deep. And while the movie doesn't particularly shy away from the point, it's a rare film that manages to bring the point front and center without beating the watcher over the head with it. "Death Becomes Her" flirts deeply and skillfully with the problems of aging and mortality, and manages to come to a conclusion that most of us often cannot accept - that a deathless life is without reason, but even a short life with friends and loved ones has meaning and endless depth.

Rivalry between two women (Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn) over a doctor/undertaker (Bruce Willis) leads to extreme measures. They take an elixir that maintains beauty forever with some minor side effects (and a belated warning).
One woman becomes very twisted, the other holier than thou.
Who will he choose?
I will not go into details, as they are the movie. However the great acting and good special effects will hold your attention. One must be prepared to suspend reality.

Movie Review: The best and most creative movie plot ever made!!

This movie is one of my all-time favorites!! I could write 10 pages of reviews expressing how I feel about this flick. But I am tired of being on FB,youtube, emails,ect.. lol. Case in point: It is the most creative and well written and well-acted "script" ever implemented in Hollywood. When do u ever see 4 or 5 of the best actors colabrating on a great narrative? This movie has it all! The continuous "comic relief" is what makes this movie spin! You can't get enough of this movie. I guarantee you will be sitting and pressing that rewind button until you've had enough! lol They don't make movies much like this anymore.
Word is the director wanted to include it in tales fromt he crypt and then decided at the last minute to go solo on this one! great choice!!
Movie Review: Not just Hollywood!

Many people say this is a mocking of Hollywood stereotypes but little did Mr. Zemeckis and the writers know that barely a decade later we would have become as vain as we ever have. This is a satire of society in general anymore. As someone who works in the "plastic" industry and sees what people do their faces and bodies in their effort to stop/stall the aging process, this movie really ought to be on network TV like Wizard of Oz is every year! Perhaps people would see that aging is a badge of honor in itself and they shouldn't be so hard on themselves. Anyway, back to the movie: it is so funny and the stars are so good! Bruce Willis is practically unrecognizable at first. I don't think you will be disappointed.Movie Review: liked it, loved it, want some more of it

I always wanted to get this movie but never could find it in stores.
That's one of the many things I love about amazon, I usually can always find exactly what I'm looking for.
Anyways the movie of course. ^^
Its a great comedy, very dark, very elegant, and very disturbing at some points. If your similar to me a normal person and like to collect certain movies like edward scissor hands, beetlejuice, the goonies and such then this one is for your collection! I enjoyed it when I was a kid and enjoy just as much now! Its still got it. Goes to show you how vengefully crazy some people can get, and how very fragile we actually are.
