Movie Review: Vitamin D - my HAPPY pill!!

I adore Traffic and the music of Dave Mason but I've been out of the "Dave Mason loop" lo these many years. Ordered this DVD on a whim and was exhilarated to hear this wonderful music again. Turned the volume way up as a rite of Spring, just like I used to do with Alone Together. I don't know how to articulate this, but Dave Mason's strong clear singing voice pushes my "HAPPY" button. For this reason, I did NOT enjoy his faux-gravelly-sounding/Joe Cocker-ish voice that I understand he now uses a lot. It sounds artificial and goofy. But all in all, I do adore him and his music.
The band of musicians on this DVD is top notch. They all work amazingly well together to produce great renditions of every one of these songs. Film editing is smooth and sublime. I join with DM to say it would be great to witness a Traffic Reunion. It would also be great if Dave were to write and sing NEW songs to share with us about his ongoing life and love.
