Dante's Peak was one of my favourite movies of 1997. It's exciting, smart, fun and has really outstanding special effects, some of the best I have ever seen. Why wasn't this movie nominated for best visual effects?? Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton ignite the screen! What a rush!Movie Review: Great Movie

I love disaster flicks and this one did not disappoint. It had all the qualities I love about such movies: the person/people who puts money/ego ahead of people's safety dies, the hero gets the girl, and the hero goes back into the disaster area when everyone else is leaving.Movie Review: Awesome movie!

This movie is awesome. It was well acted, scored and directed. The effects were amazing and it had a really good story line. If you haven't seen this movie I encourage you to see it. You don't know what you are missing. Whatever you do don't look back!

I don't need to write what it is about because the first review is perfect. It is a good movie & much better then the other volcano movie and I have seen both of them & I lived by the tar pits when I was a child. both are good but this one is the better of the two.Movie Review: Great movie, received in perfect condition

I think I received this movie on time (not important at the time). Great movie, had seen it at least twice before. Good story line, great action but family-friendly so I had no hesitation in letting our five and six year olds see it with us. Highly recommended.
