Movie Review: Very Realistic and quite entertaining.
Summary: 5 Stars
Living in Western Washington, not far from Mt. St. Helens, I found this film to be very facinating. It reminded me of the actual 1980 news coverage of the St. Helens eruption. The special effects, acting and overall look were extremely good. Both lead characters displayed excellent chemistry on screen. It would be nice to see them together in a new film as I feel they are both talented and portray very likable characters. The sets, visual effects, chioce of "on-location" shooting and overall blending of live action with special FX made this film truly believable. Maybe they will produce some type of sequel - we can only hope. I was impressed with the film in the theater as well as the DVD release. Living in the shadow of Mount Rainier (only 50 miles away), I'm a bit concerned should Rainier ever decide to become a real life Dante's Peak!Movie Review: Wonderful Movie

It has wonderful suspence and acting! :) It will leave you wishing it wasn't over! :) It's about a volcano exspert (Pierce Brosnan) Who sadly lost his wife in a Volcano Eruption . And A Single mother and her two Children a boy and a Girl! And there Grandmother. The volcano is about to blow when the Grandmother won't come down from the Mountain (Next to the Volcano) And her Two Grand Children come up to the Mountain to get her. So there Mother and The volcano Exspert (Pierce Brosnan) Go up to the Mountain to get them and they get them and then they all get stuck in the Middle of the Volcano and the rest of the Movie is Them trying to get To a safe place! This is a wonderful action Packed Movie A must see Movie and it should be a five star Movie!Movie Review: Wonderful Movie

DANTE'S PEAK is not only one of the greatest Disaster movies ever filmed, it is a breathtaking spectacle of Special effects, beautiful scenery, and heartfelt characters! The cinematography of this film is absolutely wonderful! The Special Effects are so realistic, You will actually feel like you are really seeing this disaster happen! The action is fast-paced and breathtaking as the heartfelt characters do all they can to make it out alive! Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton bring a romantic chemistry to the film that energizes the emotion of the film as well as the action! They work so wonderfully together and I hope to see them appear together again. DANTE'S PEAK is one fun ride of a movie that I will never forget! It's as exciting as movies come!!
