Movie Review: Gay Sex in the Shadows
Summary: 4 Stars
The main reason to have a permanent copy of Dantes Cove is that the male leads are super hunky when having erotic gay sex in the midst of a witch epidemic. The actors were obviously chosen because they are all handsome hunks, and just as obviously failed to pass acting school. But why worry about such issues when you have the opportunity to have a gay version of the cult classic Dark Shadows. I think it is also nice that the lesbian characters get to have as much on air love making time as the guys. My favorite character is the tortured soul Kevin, cute, blond, and seductive, equally matched by his confused but muscular boyfriend Tobey. The names for both of the actors who play these parts are composed of two masculine, first names, ergo, these guys don't really want their moms to find out that they star in a gay soft porn film.Movie Review: Sexy, Steamy, Superstitious, Soap Opera

When I bought Dante's Cove off of Amazon I was looking for something different in a gay-themed film...well this almost fit the bill. I can tell you it was different. Queer As Folk meets Melrose's place meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets L Word meets well you get the picture. It was pretty good despite some of the dialogue but the setting was beautiful and the outfits were hot and the fact that they were barely wearing any! It was well written and the storyline was good overall. Looking forward to the next season if there will be one.Movie Review: Grows better with each season.

This tv series starts with a great story line to tell and no budget to tell it.
Sexy cast with solid acting talelnt. Plan to see great bodies of work for several of these cast members as their film biographies grow.
I had read several reviews from different sources and knew what I was getting into when I purchased this series sight unseen. I do NOT regret my money spent on this series. I have added two members of this cast to my personal list of favorite actors and have gone out in search of their other film work. (:

Supernatural and gay, who could ask for more? I love shows that deal with the supernatural and I love glbt themes in shows. With this film I got both. I was in heaven. It does have the feel of a daytime soap opera, as opposed to a real movie, which is ok. The actors/actresses were all beautiful. Two hot guys in love with a softcore love scene. This guy was trying to help his boyfriend to recover in a horrible curse of this hot warlock guy, who got cursed by his ex-girlfriend? He got locked in a dugeaon which changed his apperance and made him wrinkled.
