Movie Review: Loved it!

Dante's Cove is one of the most unique shows i've ever seen. It is highly entertaining with a mixture of the supernatural, horror, goth, camp, romance and great sex scenes between two of the most gorgeous guys to ever grace my tv screen.
Based on all the positive reviews and recommendations I took the chance and just brought the DVD instead of renting it first, and i'm so glad I did. I sat and watched the entire 3 hrs and commentary in one sitting and thought it to be excellent.
The story of Dante's Cove takes place in 'The Hotel Dante' which has an history of hauntings and revenge. A women walks in on her husband Ambrosius in the arms of another man. She then places a curse on him out of revenge, but hundreds of years later the curse is accidently lifted by Kevin, the boyfriend of Toby, who both live at The Hotel Dante. The story then unfolds in present day with Toby and Kevin fighting against the evils of Ambrosius who is determined to win Kevins love for all eternity.
Dante's Cove is packed with beautiful people, especially the two main leads Toby, played by the dark haired beauty 'Charlie David' and Kevin, played by the good looking 'Gregory Micheal.' Charlie David who plays Toby is incredibly beautiful. Watching him for three hours in lip lock after lip lock with Gregory Micheal was indeed a pleasure, especially for this straight girl.
Dante's Cove the second season...I can't wait!

Movie Review: Donte's Cove 1

OMG... Loved this series. I bought this and Donte's Cove the 2nd season. I watched it all wk-end long with my friend. We couldn't stop watching until the end of the 2nd season. It really pissed me off the way they ended it... it left us wanting more. Total cliff hanger at the end of the 2nd season. We can't wait for the 3rd season to be released. If ever you wanted a wicked gay romance... this is for you. My friend and I are "Charmed" fanatics. So we loved the bewitching element of this gay drama. The 1st season is mildly cheesy at the beginning but by the 2nd season it will totally captivate you! HOT HOT men throughout the 2 seasons with very dramatic story lines. It's not hard to follow and by the end of the 2nd season all questions are answered. I def. recommend this series. You have to watch it from beginning to end to completely understand. I ordered this on the strength of previous reviews as it looked very interesting.
The people are georgeous, the scenery is most peoples dream and the plot is easy going but it has something that made me watch both episodes one after the other.
Tracy Scoggins is wonderfully over the top and she steals every scene she is in. She brings something to the part og 'Grace' that most other actresses would have shied away from.
The is a good deal of sex but it does nothing really to detract from the story and it is not something that creeps up on you. Once you have watched the first twenty minutes or so you know what is going to happen throughout.
It is wonderfully interesting and I can't wait for series two to come out on DVD.
It is on my reminder list already.
Movie Review: Wow

I bought this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. It started off kind of slow, but once Kevin arrives at the Hotel Dante, things start happening fast.
It strikes me as a mixture of Charmed, the Craft, and B-movie horror with a good plot and hot men.
I am actually impressed with the work that went into this movie. They created a new line of magic with its own dark path to go with it. I know that it is a mix of several myths and legends, but they did a really good job. And the historical/past clashing with the present just adds to the intrigue...at least it did for me.
Can't wait to get season 2. Finished season one and immediatly ordered season 2. It leaves a good cliff hanger at the end of this one.
I highly recommed this to anyone looking for a good thriller.
