Movie Review: excellent

It was a "safe" movie that everyone can watch. It was hilarious because it caught all the different dynamics that come together when a family reunion takes place....on top of the family being concerned for Dan and his widowhood. Many relationships that took place and I don't have time or room to write about it.....I just highly recommend this movie. It is so true to life and hilarious because of it.Movie Review: Surprisingly, GREAT movie!

I didn't really know what to expect with this movie given Steve Carell's typically cast roles. This film was excellent in addressing 'life' and the perils associated with single parenting and family dynamics. I loved it.
It's not a 'chic flick'. It really focuses on a real sense of family issues, personal issues and life in general.
Highly recommended! A good family film.
Movie Review: At Last, A Romantic Comedy That's Funny and Lovely

If, like me, you think romantic comedies are becoming dumb and unfunny, you will be relieved to find this little gem. Dan in Real Life is everything a movie of this genre should be: touching, funny, and lovely. Steve Carell and Juliette Binoche are wonderful and the supporting cast is superb. I don't have a large family and this movie even made me wonder what I'm missing.Movie Review: Excellent romantic comedy--a good Steve movie.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed this movie when we went to see it in the theater. We are very much a fan of Steve Carell's style of humor as we also enjoy his performances in The Office.
A great family movie that represents an unlikely occurrence in a fun, lightly suspenseful manner.

Dan in Real Life is one of the rare movies that will be a keeper for me. In fact, I have seen it 5 times and I'm sure more will follow. The scenery, cast of characters was fabulous. I found the moving both funny and touching, and have told everyone not to miss this one.
