Movie Reviews of Dan in Real LifeMovie Review: What a great movie Summary: 5 Stars
What a great movie. If you are a fan of a finely crafted movie where the dialogue pulls you in then you'll like this movie. Like The Big Chill the writing paints a picture over the course of the movie. Like a warm loving journey to a better place. If you are a single parent this movie will give you hope that love can happen again. Also, if you are a fan of big loving families you'll want to be adopted immediately into his family. Steve Carell is at his finest in this movie.
Movie Review: very good Summary: 5 Stars
I went in to this movie with no expectations. I had seen some of hte comercials, but have found comercials to be real misleading nowadays. It was very refreshing to find a show with very little special effects and stunts just grab hold of me. I havent seen a show in a long time where I cared so much about the characters. In this show it wasnt just the main characters, but almost all of them felt very real and genuine. I liked it very much for these reasons.
Movie Review: ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I'VE SEEN IN QUITE SOME TIME Summary: 5 Stars
Why do a lot of folks think, while reviewing a film, that they have to give a synopsis of the plot, even when Amazon does that for everyone. Just stick to reviewing!! Please!
ANYWAY.
This film is well-written, well acted by a 19 member cast, beautiful setting, well - directed... what can I say. It's one of those films that just grabs you; I've watched it four times in a week. Steve is great.
This one is a keeper!
Movie Review: Incredible film Summary: 5 Stars
I love this movie. It is a sweet, sweet story of a single father taking care of his 3 teen/tween daughters. On an annual trip to a family reunion of sorts he meets and becomes smitten with a woman he cannot have. It is a well written, well acted movie. Love it, love it, love it. Highly recommend. Steve Carell and Dane Cook (but especially Steve) are awesome (comedic actors are often really good at the more serious roles).
Movie Review: Great Family Entertainment Summary: 5 Stars
In this day of off-color humor, this charming film is a breath of fresh air. I'll admit, I waited until it was out on DVD; after all, Steve Carrell and Dan Cook aren't exactly known for starring in roles considered "family-friendly". I was pleasantly surprised at the all-around wholesome subject matter.
If you're in the mood for a feel-good movie with plenty of laughs, this film delivers. Delightful!
